He is also a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu purple belt under Zé Marcello, and has competed at BJJ events including the Abu Dhabi Pro Euro Trials and the No-Gi Bristol open, as well as a third place in the European BJJ Championships and a bronze medal at the 2011 IBJJF Euro Championships.
