Beginner's Muay Thai

Muay Thai makes use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, using eight points of contact as opposed to the two points (fists) in Western boxing and four points (hands and feet) used in sport-orientated martial arts. Muay Thai also looks to bind the opponent for both offensive and defensive purposes; small amounts of stand up grappling are involved. The class starts with a warm up, then moves onto technique with some light sparring at the end and fitness exercises throughout.
This class is suitable for anyone wanting to learn Muay Thai and improve fitness, from beginners upwards.
